I will be raising funds for a small UK registered charity run by a friend, called Reachout Now, which passes 100% of your donations directly to fund projects in some of the poorest developing countries in Asia, Africa and South America.  All administration costs are borne by the trustees, so you can see the impact that all your donations have on these people's lives. The trip itself is self-funded, 100% of your donations go to Reachout Now.

Reachout Now works with local communities on projects to improve education, health, and quality of life, with a particular focus on childrens' welfare.  Their current project is to build a school for 180 children in a remote part of , . I am heading to in Africa to Kilimanjaro. Rising 19,340 feet about sea level, is the tallest mountain in and the world’s highest free-standing mountain. The climb will take 6 days through 5 major eco-zones: rain forest, heath, moorland, alpine desert and glaciers.  This will be a huge challenge climbing to an altitude of approximately 6km above sea level where the thin air contains only 50% of the oxygen found at sea level.
