On the 3rd July this year I will be attempting to complete my first ever ultra-marathon! Taking my love of running and drawing on inspiration from some of the other huge fundraising accomplishments over the past year, I've decided to set my own challenge and raise some money along the way. I will be taking part in the Peak District Ultra-Challenge, attempting the full 100km distance in under 24 hours.

My chosen charity to support is Help for Heroes. Every day, men and women have to leave their career in the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds. Money raised helps them recover and get on with their lives. So far Help for Heroes have supported more than 25,000 people and won’t stop until every veteran gets the support they deserve.
