2019 has been the hardest year to date. For me and for my family. Late December, my mum was diagnosed with Lung cancer, and is currently going through her battle. Chemotherapy is one of the toughest things a human could endure and she taking it like a champ! There is no one in this world that inspires me as much as that woman. She’s the strongest woman I know and Cancer will not be taking her away from me. Throughout the entire process she’s just kept on smiling and marching forward making everyone around her extremely proud. You’re are my warrior Amanda Chris Strudwick. For me, this whole ordeal was even more heart wrenching at the fact my amazing mum bases her career around helping people from working in the NHS to managing a care home, she deserves the world and more. For you, I will be participating in a big boxing (UWCB) charity event in Leicester to raise awareness and hopefully lots of money for cancer research. This is my JustGiving page to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
