Callum's Dive

The Flying Monkey Skydive · 16 February 2013 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 16th February, I will be pushed out of a plane at 15,000ft in a monkey suit all in the name of charity. However, before this feat, I need to raise £400 for Plymouth Uni RAG Society's chosen charity, Wild Futures.
Wild Futures run one of the UK's largest Monkey Sanctuaries in Cornwall and have just experienced one of the toughest winters since they opened in 1964 resulting in significant damage to their property and also the death of their youngest member, Pepper.
They rely on the donations of kind people such as yourself, and every little really does help, so please dig deep and support this worthwhile charity!
It costs approximately £500,000 to run Wild Futures each year. The charity receives no government funding therefore it relies solely on donations and income generated through The Monkey Sanctuary.
To give you an idea of some of their costs:
£30,000 feeds all the monkeys at the Sanctuary for 1 year
£20,000 builds a new enclosure for a group of monkeys
£14,000 funds a keeper or campaigns manager for a year
£5000 will help fund a project abroad
£100 will pay for an education session
