Story
I am running the London marathon 2024 to support the incredible work of the Alzheimer's Society, and I wanted to share with you the personal reason behind my decision. In 2021, my Nan died after battling Alzheimer's disease. Witnessing the devastating impact it had on her and our family inspired me to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. By participating in this marathon, I aim to honour her memory and contribute to the fight against Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
Your generous support will help fund vital research, support services, and raise awareness about this heartbreaking condition. Together, let's make a difference and bring hope to those affected by Alzheimer's.
If you can afford to donate, it will be much appreciated. Please feel free to follow me on Strava to stay up to date on my progress.
Thanks
Callum
