Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So there’s 5 of us on this challenge myself , billy Widdowson , Simone Baxter , joe Elkin and Jordan Parker .

We are all going to put a short paragraph of why we’re doing this for south Derbyshire mental health association and il put them all on as the guys send me there’s .

I’m doing this challenge for this chosen charity because .I’ve  seen the effect it’s had on my wife during her life and at times it’s been horrendous . I also have close friends that have struggled with it . so I want to raise money for these guys but also awareness that we have this great place to help anyone on our doorstep.

Hi all. I'm Joe Elkin and I'm one of the people who is going to be taken part in the 200 mile walk from Brighton to Woodville to raise money for Bank House (Mental Health Charity) I have done challenges in the past 3 years for Birmingham Childrens hospital which we all enjoyed and raised a great amount of money and it was great to see how much it meant to the charity involved . Mental health is a growing problem in the U.K and is important awareness is spread and money is raised to make sure that People who are suffering get the right treatment and help. I know a few people who have suffered with mental health issues in the past and I know how important it is that they get the right support and a safe environment for them to improve their quality of life. So Thanks for all your support and I really hope you get behind us in our quest to raise a significant amount of money .
