As you may or may not know, in October 2020 I discovered my Dad was seriously ill, he was later diagnosed with motor neurone disease in November 2020. He sadly lost his life after an 8 month deteriorating battle with this disease. Ever since my perspective on life has changed, no matter what life throws at me, “it can not be as hard as what my Dad went through” is now my mantra. And therefore I’ll be facing something somewhat out of my own comfort zone, running a marathon.
