Hi my name is Callum and I'm going to try and ride 1000 miles in 2016 and hope to raise £1000 for cancer research UK.I'm doing this because in 2014 my mum was diagnosed with cancer and after chemo and radio therapy was given the all clear in 2015. I started my challenge in 2016 and shortly after a routine scan my mum's cancer had returned so after another course of chemo in March we then had the long wait for the results. In early August 2016 my mum got the news that the cancer had spread to her lungs and is now terminal :( I am more determined than ever now to raise money in the hope it stops other people from having to go through this.
