Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. please can you dig deep and sponsor me online
I had a serious liver condition when I was born, called biliary atresia. I had a liver transplant when I was 2 years old at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge.
I first started going to the transplant sport uk when I was eight and won gold, silver and bronze in track & field events
This year in Sheffield I won a gold in 25m backstroke and silver in 25m freestyle in the swimming events
I am really excitied representing my country and going to Australia to win some MEDALS!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately we have to fund our team selection ourselves and the cost to send each athlete to the WTG will run into the thousands. Therefore I am looking to hopefully raise about £10,000 because as a Junior I have to have my parents along to chapperone me. I would love to be able to help to raise money to send my fellow Teen Team mates to the WTG Australia 2009 as well.
I cannot thank my Donor family enough for giving me the greatest gift of all "The Gift of Life", without their brave generosity I would not be here today, living life to the full. So if my story inspires you PLEASE take a look at the TSUK website, follow the web links and sign up to be an Organ Donor today. You can make a difference to change someone's life, like someone did for me 11 years ago!!
So please sponsor me today!!!!!!!!!!!!
