100k road run · 10 July 2021

Around since 1923, SAMH currently operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland. These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention, sport and physical activity; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.

Story

Lockdown alone has been hard on many peoples mental health but mental health has been affecting people’s life’s for a long time. I have never suffered from mental health but my family and close friends have and not being able to help is one of the worst feelings ever.

The next best thing would be to raise some money which I will do by running a 100k road run from Dundee to Whitburn on July 3rd.

Being with Shelby now over two years has opened my eyes about the effects of mental health and how it can affect your life, if I have learned just one thing it is to open up and talk to a loved one or a professional. Everyone is in this together and hopefully we can all get through this!

Any donations small or large would be grateful
