On March 9th it would have been Tish's birthday. It is also the first anniversary of her interment. In memory of this my father and I are going to jump off the side of her church! - St Mary Magdalen in the centre of Oxford.

Organised by Christian Aid the aim is to abseil with grace and gentle bounces down the outside of the tower. I'm sure the reality will be somewhat different. I'm not great with heights for a start and I've never abseiled before but in for a penny,in for a pound. 

Speaking of which, the aim is to raise just £60. I realise that this challenge is not something for which I have had to work for months beforehand in preparation and in recognition of that fact I am requesting that you sponser me for just £1. I just need 60 people to do that.
