Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In January 2023, Cameron Bales 25 and Charlie Parker 24 will be starting the 3000km (1864 mile) Te Araroa Trail. We will be hiking from the most southern point of New Zealand to the most northern point – Bluff to Cape Reinga. Te Araroa translates to “The Long Path” and it will take us around 4 months to complete, we will be hiking and camping, carrying all the supplies we need through tough terrain.

We have chosen to raise money for Young Minds who are committed to providing young people with tools to look after their mental health. More young people than ever before need support for their mental health and accessing that support quickly can make a critical difference. Their mission is to make sure all young people can get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what. To find out more information, visit: https://www.youngminds.org.uk/

This journey ahead of us will be tough, like those faced by many young people, but we hope that with your generous support we can make a real difference.
