Story

We are a group of  volunteers and staff from Cambridge Central Mosque ‘running’ in the historic Cambridge Chariots of Fire relay race (https://www.chariots-of-fire.co.uk). Meet our "CAMBRIDGE CENTRAL MOSQUE CRAWLERS" team, scroll through the photo gallery! :-)

We’ll be raising money for the compassionate & selfless work of our local hospice, Arthur Rank! I believe we’ve already made Chariots of Fire history by participating as one of the first Muslim teams!

Cambridge Central Mosque & Arthur Rank Hospice already have ongoing links and have recently run a successful living well event together. Arthur Rank connect with all community groups & have a diverse approach to supporting everyone's right to living well in our last chapters.

Currently, we’ve been drinking lots of tea, talking lots about training, but seem to have already developed  several injuries amongst the team?! :-D

We will be  literally crawling to the finish line but armed with our faith & your generous donations for Arthur Rank we are determined to get this gruelling 10.2km done!

Please support us on our mission that definitely seems impossible without your generosity!

You may not control life's circumstances, but getting to be the author of your life means getting to control what you do with them.” Atul Gwande, Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End
