Hi Everyone,

I am organising a charity netball tournament to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and it would be great if you wanted to get involved. Everybody is welcome, so please spread the word amongst family and friends. The more, the merrier! (And the more competitive it will be!)

The event will be held on Sunday 24th July 2016 from 1pm until 5pm at :

Along with having access to the netball courts, we also have space on the green to have our own picnics and a few stalls to provide refreshments, cakes, raffle prizes and probably much more by the time the planning is finished! So even if you don't fancy taking part in the netball, you are more than welcome to come along to watch and support those taking part, whilst soaking up some sunshine (hopefully!) throughout the afternoon.

A minimum of £5 entry donation has been suggested for all who wish to take part. A team of a minimum of 5 players is needed. If you don't have a full team to enter that is no problem at all, as we have lots of individuals in the same position who we can team you up with.

There will be a fabulous prize at the end of the competition awarded to Player of the Tournament - courtesy of the lovely ladies at the English Rose Beauty House in Willingham, who have kindly agreed to donate to this special event.

If you have any business contacts who would be happy to donate prizes for our raffle or provide support with decorations or advertising, please encourage them to get in touch. Or anybody who could offer other helpful services such as umpiring the matches on the day, helping to set up the venue prior to the event, providing food or refreshments for the picnic etc. Any extra support would be greatly received. It goes without saying that our main aim of the day is not only to have fun but to raise as much money as we can towards such a worthwhile cause.
