Story

As Salaamu Alaikum—Brick by Brick!

The new Cambridge Mosque building needs 350,000 bricks! Our goal this Ramadan is to buy all the bricks necessary for the construction of the new mosque. In helping us buy the bricks this year, you will not only allow us get closer to making this mosque a reality but more importantly you will actually be part of building itself.

Instead of making a one off donation, this year we all have the opportunity to help actually BUILD the mosque, literally
brick by brick!

In order to reach this goal, so many of us across the country and the world for that matter are banding together to raise funds for this necessary and important cause. Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad comments on the Mosque Project that '‘this building will be truly inclusive, sustainable, safe, secure and respectful of the neighbourhood. It will be a landmark building which will inject new life into the Mill Road area of Cambridge of which the local and wider Cambridge community can be proud."

All of you, in your near and far corners of the world can help us make the first purpose built mosque in Cambridge a reality.

A donation of £35 will buy 25 bricks, a donation of £70 will buy 50 bricks or a donation of £140 will buy 100 bricks.

Or, you may set up a direct debit and bricks monthly. A donation of only £7.00/month will buy 5 bricks per month.

Please give generously and help build our mosque.
