I would like to raise money for the Maggie's Charity, as a thank you for the help that they have given to my gran and our family, through what is, and what has been a very emotional journey. 

In August last year, my gran, my best friend was diagnosed with lung cancer, which she underwent radiotherapy. In June of this year we were given the news that my grans cancer had now spread to her bones and her liver, and that this time there would be no cure. In the last few weeks she has had radiotherapy to help with her pain, and she is currently having some chemotherapy to make her more comfortable and to prolong the time that she has left with us. As you can imagine, we are all absolutely devastated. 

Throughout her diagnosis, and all of the appointments, The Maggie's Centre have been amazing. They have helped my gran with some tough decisions, and have always been there to answer her questions. They have always had their door open, with a shoulder and a cup of coffee any time it was needed. Not only have they been there for my gran, they have been there for the rest of our family, emotionally and practically, they have always been there for every one of us, every step of the way, and for this I will be eternally grateful. 

I wanted to give a little something back for everything that they have done for us.

Myself and a small group will be doing the walk between us, on a date to be confirmed in October.. 

As an extra, once we reach £800, I will live stream having both of my legs waxed!! So DIG DEEP!
