Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I didn't plan this! I started out on my first run in the New Year and my mind started to wonder, maybe there is something I can do here to raise some funds for mental health. So I have decided to run 5km a day, every day for the month of January. I thought this would be a wee tribute to my friend and colleague Mike Buchan who we lost last year. During the last 2 years, due to the pandemic, many people have been affected by mental health. We have no idea the extent of the impact and it may only start to emerge when some degree of normality resumes. SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) is a great charity, providing a range of mental health support and services to local communities.
