Macdonald Henderson – Walking Together for WASLER

As a firm, Macdonald Henderson is proud to be walking together as a team to raise funds for WASLER – Women’s Aid South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire. WASLER aims to support women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse by providing safety, practical guidance and emotional support. The charity helps survivors of domestic abuse access refuge, take practical steps towards safety and stability, navigate housing and legal options, and rebuild confidence and independence, ensuring that no one has to face abuse alone.

This cause is especially important to us. Two of our colleagues at Macdonald Henderson — Laura McKnight and Emily Glen-Hencher— are Directors of WASLER. Through their involvement, we have seen first-hand the compassion and dedication that goes into helping those affected find safety, rebuild confidence and create a future free from fear.

Your donation helps ensure WASLER can be there when it matters the most— whether big or small, your donation will go towards the practical and emotional support that helps women and children take their first steps to safety.

- £10 could help purchase materials for a child to take part in a children‘s group activity to gain confidence and encourage involvement with others

- £20 could help provide an emergency pack for a woman fleeing domestic abuse, providing essential items such as clothing and toiletries

- £50 could help provide an hours support/Counselling to a woman or child/young person
