Hi, my name is Camila, I am currently studying Law at RGU. In August 2021, I will be embarking on a journey to Tanzania. I will be reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m above sea level) alongside my University and Choose a challenge. I will be donating and raising awareness for a leading charity called Marie Curie. Marie Curie provides care and support for those living with terminal illness across the UK. They have 9 hospice locations and provide in-home services for those reaching the end of life. In the UK, 1 in 4 people do not receive any emotional or physical help when they face life-threatening conditions. So, Marie Curie nurses work night and day in both emotional and physical assistance to ensure patients and their loved ones are looked after during these difficult times. The money raised will go towards helping those in need as well as covering some of the trip expenses. Anything you can give will go a long way, so please donate what you can! I hope you can help me raise awareness, no one should have to face bereavement alone.
