Story

I am swimming the Dart 10k for the World Land Trust and War Child. This page is dedicated to my fundraising for the World Land Trust.

The World Land Trust works to protect some of the world’s most biodiverse and threatened habitats acre by acre. This is done by empowering local NGOs by providing finance and technical support to create and protect nature reserves, restore degraded habitats and ensure they are permanently protected.

An essential part of the World Land Trust's philosophy is always to work through local partners and rely on local expertise. Through these local partners WLT funds the purchase or lease of threatened land to create nature reserves, protecting both habitats and their wildlife.

Patrons of WLT include David Attenborough, Steve Backshall, and Chris Packham.

No human or animal species can thrive or survive without the careful balance of our natural ecosystems. Protecting and nourishing the natural environment is a fundamental imperative. Please join me in helping to protect and restore it.
