The challenge is to run the Camino de Santiago trail in 14 days. The route starts in St Jean Pied de Port, France and finishes in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The challenge will consist of 14 ultra-marathons in 14 days.
All funds raised will be divided equally between the 3 charities we have chosen to support: -
- City in the Community Foundation - City Thrive mental health programme (registered charity number 1139229). Mental health is is the biggest challenge facing young people globally and in particular in Manchester right now.
- Macmillan Cancer Support (registered charity number 261017), we chose this charity because cancer has affected our friends and families both in the past and present.
- Murdered Abroad (registered charity number 1111724), chosen by Danny who has raised funds for this charity since tragically losing one of his closest friends.
