Campbell Tickell's 10k Challenge for Safe Passage

Campbell Tickell is raising money for Safe Passage

10k Challenge · 14 June 2021

Nearly half of all refugees are children and more than ever before are unaccompanied, often embarking on long and dangerous journeys to find a safe place to call home. We help child refugees access their right to reach safety, then support their first steps to rebuilding their lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.

Campbell Tickell is taking part in Safe Passage's 10k challenge to raise money to help secure the safety of child refugees.

The 10k challenge honors the 10,000 children brought to safety from Nazi occupied Europe on the Kindertransport.

We'll be doing this during Refugee Week (14 -20 June) - the UK-wide festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.

CT team members will be taking part in activities on the theme of 10k including:

  • Ben Williams, Business Support Coordinator, who will be cycling 10k on his exercise bike.
  • Liz Zacharias, Director, Ljiliana Milicevic, Business Manager, and Rianna Mitchell, Marketing & Comms Officer, will be walking 10k.
  • Gemma Prescott, Head of Interim Management and Inkaran Jeyaramashandran, Senior Finance Officer, who will be running 10k.
  • Zina Smith, Marketing & Comms Manager, who will be attempting a 1000m swim.

Thanks for your support & donations!
