Campaign by Sarcoma UK (RCN in England and Wales 1139869, Scotland SC044260)
After being told she had sarcoma, Hope started a blog, talking about her sarcoma diagnosis and treatment and began raising funds for Sarcoma UK.

Story

In November 2014 my beautiful little sister and best friend Hope was diagnosed with Soft tissue Sarcoma.

2 operations, 6 rounds of chemotherapy and countless sessions of radiotherapy, Hope is now in remission following one reoccurrence.

Unfortunately, around 3,800 other people in the UK will be diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma this year and their lives will be turned upside down as a result of this rare form of cancer.

As Sarcoma is very rare, so much more research needs to be done to fully understand how these cancers develop and how best to treat them. Sarcoma UK receive no government funding and rely solely on generous voluntary donations and the energy and imagination of fundraisers.

In the past three years an incredible £82,000 has been raised by my family, friends and I.

I have ran two Virgin London marathons, trekked the Inca trail in Peru, held fundraisers, a black tie ball and now I'll be running the the 2018 London marathon to try and reach the £100k mark.

Please sponsor me and help in our fight against Sarcoma for those who are still battling and those who have sadly lost their battle.
