3 peaks challenge · 10 August 2007

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! In May this year a few friends and I decided to climb the 3 highest mountains in the UK (Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England andBen Nevis in Scotland) in under 24 hours. We'll be completing this timed challenge whatever the weather(31.7 miles of gruelling trekking - a combined height of over 11,000 feet, or 40% the height of Everest), in 24 hours over the weekend of 15-16th September 2007 in order to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society (UK charity no: 207495). The Multiple Sclerosis Society is the UK's largest organisation dedicated to supporting the 85,000 people affected by MS, specifically by training specialist MS nurses, counselling, finding funding for research into MS (for which there is currently no cure), and ultimately eradicating the effects of MS. Please support us in completing the Three Peaks 24 hour challenge for this very important cause! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Hope to make it back in one piece to thank you all in person.... Thank you for supporting me and this worthwhile cause Big kiss Candice x
