Story

💛 We’re walking the Kiltwalk 2025 – for hope, for answers, and for every single person living with endometriosis. 💛

Team Captain : Candice Mckenzie 🎗️

Yes we’re back in our boots and tartan ready this September, and this time we’re walking to raise vital funds for the brilliant Endo1000 project at the University of Edinburgh.

🎗 Since 2017, Endo Warriors West Lothian has been a grassroots support, action, and awareness group providing safe spaces, advocacy, and lived experience voices for those with endo. This condition is so much more than “just a bad period” – it’s a systemic, life-altering disease with no cure (yet).

This September, our team – led by Candice, co-founder of Endo Warriors West Lothian and ambassador for Endo1000 – will walk with fellow warriors to raise funds for the incredible Endo1000 research project at the University of Edinburgh.

Endometriosis is a life-changing disease that’s often misunderstood and painfully under-funded. It’s not just a bad period – it’s missed years, lost dreams, and daily battles for so many.

We’re walking for change.

For earlier diagnosis.

For better treatment.

For every warrior who’s been told “it’s all in your head.”

Please support us if you can – your donation, no matter how small, truly means the world.

💛 Why we walk:

We’re raising money for the amazing research team led by Professor Andrew Horne, Professor Saunders Dr Lucy , and colleagues – who work tirelessly to improve the lives of those living with endometriosis and pelvic pain.

Research = answers.

Earlier diagnosis = hope.

We’re walking for everyone affected by endometriosis and pelvic pain – for faster diagnosis, better treatment, and a future with answers.

To our admins, warriors, supporters, and friends: thank you for walking this road with us – we do this for all of you.

Please support us if you can – every step and every donation brings us closer to change 💛

Your sponsorship means the world – whether it’s a small boost or a big gesture, it all adds up.

Thank you!
