So it started like this - Candy to Abbie
"Random thought - I keep seeing Snowdown Sunrise Hike for Sands and I have to say I am quite tempted by it - wondered what you thought?"
To... "John is up for it too…be lovely to walk with you both"
And that was that - Abbie, John, James and I are hiking Snowdon overnight to see the sunrise in memory of their son Danny who should be celebrating his 10th birthday this year.

We'll never forget receiving that email from John; I read it over and over; how could it be true? How could life be so cruel and take away their precious son within 24 hours of being born? As a friend, you feel hopeless, you can't make it better, but we will always be there for them and remember Danny. To us, Abbie and John will always have 4 very loved children. 

We are very proud to be part of #TeamDanny and to be supporting Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, in his memory.
