We help rough sleepers in Merton and those at risk of homelessness. We offer showers, laundry, and a hot meal. We also help with accommodation, job searches, benefit and other applications, and access to local services including GP and mental health provision and drug/alcohol dependency support.

Story

This year the Capsticks Choir is raising money for Faith in Action Merton Homelessness Project . We have a great tradition for fundraising at Christmas for important causes, and FiA runs a homeless drop-in centre twice a week providing hot meals, internet access, shower and laundry facilities, clothing, help searching for work, and help with accessing local services. For more information please go to: http://www.mertonfaithinaction.org/

Your donations could buy: £5 pays for 2 square meals; £10 pays for razors for 2 weeks to enable service users to shower and shave; £17 pays the cost of one average service user's day at the drop in centre; £30 pays for 2 new sleeping bags; £50 pays for a month's worth of warm socks and underwear; and £100 pays for a UK passport, providing ID for job applications.

Thank you for your support - Merry Christmas.
