During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause.

We will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom our way, be volunteering for at least 100 continuous hours over his Birthday Weekend to support the East Midlands Ambulance Service providing life-saving, pre-hospital emergency care in our community.

We aim to raise £2000 for major Scheme Development such as purchasing life-saving equipment.
