The Rhino Charge is an annual off-road 4x4 event that raises funds for the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust in Kenya. 

Phoenix Rising support Rhino Ark’s mission to protect and conserve Kenya’s mountain forest watersheds. Our Rhino Charge entry comes with a pledge to raise at least KES 750 thousand (around $7.5K) for Rhino Ark, and we ask you to participate by donating any amount you feel comfortable with, directly to them. 

Your contribution will be gratefully received by Rhino Ark, and should be marked ‘on behalf of Team Car 16 - Phoenix Rising’ to ensure it is recorded against our entry pledge. We see all of our sponsors as an integral part of the larger Phoenix Rising team and community.  

Rhino Charge has a reputation for breaking even the best prepared and toughest vehicles and it challenges the skills and resilience of the hardiest spirits! Support our team as we go bush - through some of the severest but ever beautiful terrain in Kenya - aiming to pass through 13 check points in less than 10 hours and in the shortest possible distance.
