Story
According to the Sheldrick Foundation, at the current rate of poaching elephants will be extinct by 2025. Scary isn't it? And this is not the only fact you hear about. According to the UN in 2010 deforestation cost kenya 5.8 billion shillings. Kenya's wildlife and nature reserves will disappear soon and its up to us to help prevent that from happening
So what can we do about it? Well Rhino Charge Fever has kicked in and the build up to Kenya's largest fundraising event has begun. 4 concerned old men and one youngster are ready to tackle anything the Kenyan bush can throw at them in their newly built yellow Land Rover to help raise funds to protect Kenya. Car 7 is entering the charge once again and is looking to have some fun in this unique event where each competitor must get to 13 checkpoints distributed through the harsh Kenyan wilderness.
The money raised from this event will go to the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust for fencing vital national reserves around Kenya. They have recently completed the 440km fence around the Aberdare National Reserve and are now looking to tackle the Eburu Forest Ecosystem.
This year we are looking to raise at least 1,000,000KES
