Girlguiding are once again excited to be an official partner of BBC Children in Need. This year we're asking Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and volunteers to do what they love with a fundraising twist so that together, we can change young lives.

Story

Cara has decided to raise some money for Children In Need and Girlguiding by doing a Perfect 10 Challenge linking in with this year's Strictly theme.

Starting on 10th November she will complete 10 challenges in 10 days and they all include the number 10.

1. Walk 10 miles
2. Learn to count to 10 in Spanish
3. Play 10 pieces on the piano
4. Sort 10 Christmas shoeboxes for Blythswood at our church sorting centre
5. Bake 10 different bakes
6. Learn 10 different dance steps
7. Tell 10 people about Children In Need
8. Read 10 books
9. Cycle 10km
10. Donate 10 items to a food bank

BBC Children in Need has partnered with BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing to add a touch of sparkle to this years Appeal. We are challenging our members to fundraise with a Strictly twist.There are so many ways you can get involved and take part. Whether you want to take on a dance challenge, go glam with your dress up day, get judging with Strictly scoring paddles, or simply add a sparkle to your bakes theres no limit to what you can do to raise money.The money raised through the partnership between BBC Children in Need and Girlguiding will be split equally between the two organisations and will go on to make a difference to young lives across the UK.
