One of my 2019 challenges is to run the Newbury triathlon, and one of my other challenges is giving me a reason to do it - raising money for a cause that's very close to my heart. 

One of my best friends and I were due to go skiing in January but she fell ill the week before with the Dr deeming her too unwell to travel. It's recently transpired that after 2 and a half years of being Crohn's free following a proctocolectomy, that this disease is back with a vengeance. So while she waits to see consultants and receive test results, I'm starting my JustGiving page, in the hope that the research this amazing charity is doing is somewhat near to finding a cure. 

Research funded by Crohn's and Colitis UK has led to outstanding breakthroughs for this disease and will continue to do so, and therefore I'm asking you to sponsor me to do this mini triathlon and contribute towards funding more outstanding research and healthcare.
