Story

The Irish Cancer Society Relay For Life brings the whole community together to Celebrate the lives of cancer survivors - my Aunty Ide, Aunty Phil and cousin Leonie, to Remember those lost to the disease in particular my Dad, Donnchadh O'Buachalla, my brother Sean, my Uncle Eoin O'Buachalla, and Aunties Aine Callaghan and Astrid Deasy and to Fight Back by increasing our knowledge of cancer and by raising money to fund life-saving cancer research and free services for cancer patients which would include one of my best friends Carmel, my uncle and my friend Dee's son Cian Hayes (14). .Relay For Life is so much more than just a fundraiser; its a celebration of solidarity. Here, we have the power to come together and change the cancer experience within your community.
