You may have noticed from my facebook updates that i've been running about a fair amount, this has all been in preparation for my first half marathon!

Some of you will know that I am involved in fund raising for Teenage Cancer Trust, and the next challenge is Sunday 8th September-eeek.

 

Why you ask?

I raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust in the memory of my brother’s best friend, Oli, who died of a brain tumour when he was 18 years old in 2005.

The funds we raise as a collective group support the charity that dedicates itself to providing treatment to teenagers with cancer on purpose built wards where they can relax and feel as 'normal' as they possibly can do at that time.  Previous year's monies went towards the development of a purpose built unit at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge which is by all accounts awe inspiring!
