Santa Run 2012 · 9 December 2012 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

That time of year has come around again….it’s Christmas and a time for Charity!

Some of you will know that I am involved in fund raising for Teenage Cancer Trust, and the next event is not far away now- Sunday 9 December.

For this fund raising event I will be dressing up as Santa early Sunday morning and running 10km around Greenwich park (not one of my meeting rooms in Bath Road-the actual parkJ)

Why you ask?

I raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust in the memory of my brother’s best friend, Oli, who died of a brain tumour when he was 18 years old in 2005.

The funds we raise as a collective group support the charity that dedicates itself to providing treatment to teenagers with cancer on purpose built wards where they can relax and feel as 'normal' as they possibly can do at that time. Last year's money went towards the development of a purpose built unit at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge which is by all accounts awe inspiring! Thank you for visiting my page and donating, hope you have a wonderful Christmas too

Cara :)
