Story
We are a small group of brothers and sisters who have embraced Islam and wish to give back to the community that has welcomed us.
Al-Ikhlas centre feeds hundreds of refugees and asylum seekers every night in Ramadan, and we have pledged to raise a minimum of £3000 to help them continue this noble work.
Fidya (£5 per day) and kaffarah for missed fasts can be paid to this cause, as well as sadaqah. Please help us reach this goal by donating as much as you can.
About Al Ikhlas
Al-Ikhlas Centre is located in the heart of Adamsdown. Here we serve our many local residents, but we are also within walking distance of a centre housing refugees and asylum seekers. This allows us to provide them with vital services they need, and to aid them to build new futures here in Wales.During the month of Ramadan we provide Iftar for around 200 members of the community on a daily basis. We are able to provide a safe environment where cross sections of society are welcomed and supported during their difficult circumstances, and we do our best to make them feel at home with us and bring them a sense of community. Please join us to day in helping to provide this service!
