Throughout January our staff are raising money for
@MindCymru in memory of Cardiff School Boys Lewis "OX" Isaac and Siôn Mullane by taking on a 124KM challenge.
Each will either run, walk, bike, swim 4KM each day throughout January to raise funds and awareness of mental health.
Mind Cymru are behind the first national campaign "Time to Change Wales" to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems.
With one in four of us affected by mental health problems in any one year, Time to Change Wales aims to tackle stigma and discrimination through a social contact model and by getting people all over Wales to talk.
By talking about mental health we can:
- strengthen relationships with friends, family and colleagues
- take the taboo out of something that affects everyone
- break down stereotypes and challenge stigma
- support people in their recovery
We aim to raise £1000 towards this great charity and by doing so hope to raise the awareness and to help break down the stigma.
