Finally!!! After 6 years of failed applications, we got places in the marathon. Over the last few years we have progressed from plodding along the canal to running long distances up hill and down dale. With a slight pause of 2 years in our training plan due to various injuries we are back on track and ready to go!

We have chosen to raise money for Young Lives Vs Cancer. They help families who have children and young people with cancer by providing essential day to day support, financial support and a home from home near the hospital so that relatives can be near to children with cancer. They also support teenage cancer patients emotionally.

• £15 pays for social worker support for a family. 
• £30 helps provide a financial grant to ensure families with money worries can buy essentials.

Our training starts in earnest on 25 April 2022 and we won't stop until we cross the marathon finish line!
