Team Carillion - Snowdonia Challenge
A group of aspiring Carillion walkers and cyclists have decided to push themselves to the limit and undertake a Charity 'Walk & Bike' Challenge to Snowdon in aid of a couple of wonderful charities,

With your help, the money we raise will help to transform the lives of the people they care for and give them the very best opportunities to continue and/ or maintain the essential services they provide for everyone.
We are a groups of colleagues, with differing experience levels, undertaking a gruelling cross country walk or a punishing cycling challenge on July 11th 2014 . Leading up to the event the whole team has given up many hours of their time to plan, prepare, train and be ready for the challenge
The Walk Challenge
The main walk is completing the ‘Welsh 1,000's Challenge’ which requires walkers to summit all 5 of the mountains in Snowdonia, Wales that are over 1,000m (3,280ft) within the space of 24 hours without using any form of transport. The length of this walk is approximately 21 miles with 9,500ft of overall ascent and includes finishing on the summit of . This challenge is tough an will take at least 12 hours to complete.
The Challenge is made up of three sections:
Section 1 - Carnedd Llewelyn (1,064m) & Carnedd Dafydd (1,044m)
Section 2 - Glyder Fawr (1,001m)
Section 3 - Garnedd Ugain (1,065m) & (1,085m)
The Bike Challenge
The bike challenge is a 106 mile cycle route with 7,000 ft of ascent starting at Carillion HQ, Wolverhampton and finishing at the base of
