Staff and students are taking part in a 24-hour bird race around Merseyside (or their home county) in response to the United Nations Environment Programme Green Nudges and to celebrate International Biodiversity. Bird racing involves identifying as many species as possible in a defined geographical area during a 24 hour period. It’s a great way to get to know the birds in your local area and share your appreciation of nature with like-minded people. Can we suggest that teams contribute £5 to enter and monies raised will be donated to the local RSPB.
