I had an original target of £777.77, reached it and have raised it a few times due to amazing further donations. With 2 weeks to go, having reached the £1000.00 milestone, I decided to challenge myself further with the relevant goal of £1307.00 (the connection being the no.13 & 07 shirt numbers worn by the most inspirational Kevin Sinfield and of course our Rob)!

Well, thanks to great support from friends, family and work colleagues WE DID IT!!

Thank you so much for all the amazing support you’re giving to families affected by MND by sponsoring me. It means so much for reaching £1,000 as it means we could  help in a couple of ways:

• It could pay for a detailed analysis of the DNA of someone with MND to help take us closer to finding a cure.
• It could pay for a text to speech device to give someone with MND the ability to continue to communicate with their loved ones. 

We made it possible!  And thank you once again - when I hit a ‘dark point’ during the run this generosity is what will inspire me to keep going!
