I have a few friends in Barnsley and they invited me up there for the Leeds game at Oakwell on 25th November. Soon after this I read the words of the club's Chairman Patrick Cryne about his personal battle with terminal cancer.
His words touched me, touched me because they were from the heart and also because people very close to me have also suffered.
It is this reason that I have decided to cycle from Fratton Park (Portsmouth Football Club) to Oakwell for the Barnsley Hospice. I will be doing it over 3 days, unsupported and I hope you can give generously.
