Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are raising money for the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in loving memory of my Nan, Nicky Martin who we sadly lost on the 3rd of January 2020 after an incredible and brave fight with cancer for 3 years. The hospice which cared for my Nan in her final days did so with such dignity, kindness and compassion and showed outstanding support not only for my Nan but for our family. They greeted and treated us with great respect and we can not fault a single aspect of the hospice.
There will also be a donation pot at the crematorium where my nans funeral will be held for those that wish to donate then.We ask for no flowers, just donations to the hospice for their outstanding work as we know that’s what nan would of wanted.
Thank you to each individual for your support and kind words through this difficult time and thank you for your donations. This money will go on to help and support family’s and patients who are going through the same. Although an NHS Hospice, an independent charity, the Countess of Brecknock Hospice Trust, was created in 1998 to support the work of the hospice.
