Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This race is actually on the 13th March and not February but the page link from the charity has the incorrect date.

The first time I ever visited Falmouth was in 2016 when Mark was due to run the Falmouth Half. Unfortunately Mark had a very bad chest infection and couldn't do the run but we still came to support the other runners and have a bit of a break.

This will be my first half (having only ever run in 5k and 10k races before) and with an exceptionally hilly course to conquer, training starts in earnest in the New Year.

Now we actually live in Falmouth, it seems right for the Hammond's to run the course in their new home town, raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care who are a well known charity here.

Please also see our team page - thehammondsrunfalmouth as you can donate via this page too.
