We provide information to guide people with cancer through the confusing options for care and lifestyle choices. Our aim is to help them make informed decisions. We simplify the complex and facilitate access to expert knowledge.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with a very rare cancer in February 2021. I have undergone a year of traditional treatment including platinum chemotherapy, low dose chemotherapy, radiation and brachytherapy. In conjunction with this, I undertook a complimentary programme including specific supplements to target metabolic pathways, off-label drugs, oxygen therapy, high dose intravenous vitamin C, mistletoe injections, reiki and a strict vegan diet.

I did much better than the oncologist expected and got into remission in December of last year. Unfortunately, I didn't stay in remission and relapsed with secondary lung cancer in May this year.  Unfortunately, my options to recommence traditional therapies are now very limited. I paid to have tumour profiling undertaken which showed that my cancer has zero mutations and is PDL1 negative which means immunotherapy and targeted therapies won't work, and if I have any more chemotherapy then it is likely that the cancer will become chemo-resistant.

So my only remaining plan of action is integrative care. Off-label drugs and supplements have been found to block key metabolic pathways with the aim of stressing the cancer cells to the point of self-destructing. Therapies such as infrared sauna, PEMF, oxygen therapy, high dose IV Vit C and mistletoe injections are used routinely in other developed countries and all have proven cancer-fighting properties. However, none of this is available in the UK on the NHS, it is very expensive and I can't afford to do it alone. The reality is that at the time I need money the most, I have been unable to work and after 18 months funds have very much dried up. To date, I have spent over £35,000 on tumour profiling, gut profiling, drugs, supplements, and therapies in order to continue to fight the cancer and give myself the chance of getting back into remission. I am so grateful for anything that is donated - it literally is keeping me alive and giving me precious time with my kids and family.
