Carl was Grandpa to five grandchildren, including Hashim who was born with Down syndrome in 2013. They were very fond of each other and had may happy times together.

Hashim and family along with many other children with Downs Syndrome benefit from the support that Downright Excellent has given them, and continues to give.

Downright Excellent (DEx) works with children, their families and their schools, combining fun learning activities, training, specialist therapies, peer support and socialising to form a circle of support around each child and family to support, empower and inspire.
