Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For some reason I have decided it will be a good idea to walk 100km in the Sahara. The challenge is a 8 day trek over diverse and demanding sandy terrain including over wind-blown sand dunes. The reason is to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society so it is a good reason. As many of you will know I was diagnosed with MS in 2014 and I have wanted to do something to raise money ever since, I feel this is the perfect challenge.
The Multiple Sclerosis Society are really important for the 100,000+ people in the UK suffering with MS. The money that is raised will go towards providing support for people with MS and further research into new effective treatments, such as the one I'm on, and maybe one day (fingers crossed) a cure. Without the help from the MS Society and other MS charities this support and research would not be possible.
Thanks again for visiting my page and any donation, big or small will be greatly appreciated. The challenge is not until November so there is plenty of time to donate. I have 9 months worth of training that I need to do which should be fun.
Peace
