Doing my bit for Venezuela

London to Brighton Cycle Ride 2019 · 16 June 2019 ·
-About Me-
I was born almost 31 years ago in a country full of love, joy and surrounded by good people called Venezuela. I was lucky enough to have a family, which gave me a roof over my head, education and never allowed a plate of food to be missing from the table.
Seventeen years ago my parents made the decision to leave Venezuela because of the situation in which they foresaw that the country could end.
Unfortunately, as we can see today everything has changed, Venezuela is not what it was 20 years ago, it still has very good people, but many of them have had to leave the country because of the terrible situation in which they find themselves.
Currently, there are many people who are suffering, trying to survive with what little they can find, or with the help they can receive.
In this case, I want to do my bit so that a group of children can feel protected, loved and can feel for a few minutes that love and joy that Venezuela had years ago.
In 2002 we moved to Spain, specifically to Pamplona, and I have lived in London for about 5 years.
I love to practice sports, football, cycling, climbing, gym, boot camps...
In this occasion, I would love to raise some funds for those small Venezuelan children to keep sharing that joy for every corner of Venezuela and the world.
-About South American Initiative-
We will import medical supplies to dying patients, provide malnourished children with food in select public hospitals, and provide daily meals to starving patients where current hospitals fail to provide nourishing food. Currently, many hospitals only provide rice or other non-nutritious meals that will not allow patients to recover. We will provide balanced meals including protein (meat or chicken), rice, beans, soup and vegetables.
