Story
Hi all!
This is going to be my third half marathon but the first one in London (and the first one since 2014). As in previous occasions I have decided to support a charity.
Guide Dogs helps children and adults with severe sight problems. Primarily by providing a "guide dog" but also by helping with mobility and giving educational support.
As irrelevant as this topic might seem, there are 2 million people in the UK alone who suffer from sight loss, 180 thousand of which live alone and have little help.
What's my link to Guide Dogs? As someone who struggles to find his flip flops in the morning without wearing glasses (6 dioptres on both eyes...) I feel like I am running for the proper team. Therefore very happy to help them raise funds in this event.
Targets: 1h40min will be great, 1h45min will be good, >1h50min not good / something has gone wrong
Thank you for your support!
Carlos
