There are people in this world who leave such an impression on your heart that, even after they are gone, they are forever in your thoughts and you want to make them proud and keep the memories alive.

A little under three years ago I lost my Grandad who fought an incredibly brave fight against cancer.  He was given just a few months to live but a will to survive and love of life meant he fought for over three years. He was a true inspiration.

During this time St Helena hospice looked after him and the lovely Beryl providing so much care and support.  I want to give something back to them.

My other grandparents, Nan and Grandad Fallon were a massive part of my childhood.  The memories are so many and so happy.  We sadly lost them several years ago but they will always be in my heart and mind.

This marathon is dedicated to my Grandad and Nan and Grandad Fallon.
